As God's people, we are called to reach out to others with the love of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation in Him. Our outreach is one of proclamation and tangible acts of Christian love. Through our Outreach Ministries many people learn about and experience God's love for them as expressed through His people at Redeemer.
Evangelism Ministry: Intentional Gospel Outreach including such areas as Sunday Visitor Follow-up, Mailings, New Member Classes and Incorporation, Witnessing Training, Church Promotion.
Missions: Our contributions to the Michigan District and the Missouri Synod support mission activities deemed important by Redeemer leadership to projects across the state, country and worldwide. Redeemer tithes 10% for missions.

Mexicali Projects: In a village called Iraputo, Mexican women gather for fellowship greeting the team that has come from Redeemer to teach their children in Vacation Bible School. Over the years, Redeemer has supported the little church in the village, building from scratch, adding a new roof, signage, chairs, tables and air conditioning.

Belize Mission Trip we have now begun an annual trip to a poverty stricken section of Belize. Our mission is to help bring people the most basic necessity, a home.

SonRise Retreat: Become a friend with person who is developmentally disabled. Join Redeemer in a mini Bible camp for a weekend sponsored by Lutheran Disability Ministries in Anderson Indiana. This retreat is for Adults who have developmental disabilities, their ages range from 18 to 65. Guests are paired with volunteers, age 14 and over. Activities include Bible study, arts and crafts, campfire, karaoke, dancing, hiking, and enjoying God's creation.
Kids Against Hunger: Feeding families around the world. KAH is a non profit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. This is being acheived by using volunteers to set up food packaging satellites in the USA - and through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide - enabling KAH to deliver its specially formulated rice-soy casserole to starving children and their families in more than 40 countries.
Habitat for Humanity: Team up with Redeemer and Thrivant for Lutherans to help those in need on their home fix-up needs.
Family of God: Meals are prepared in Redeemer's kitchen by members of the Youth Group and a few adults each month and also the Positive Parenting class on Wednesday mornings. A group of volunteers bring the warm food down to Family of God. Food is served to anywhere from 40 to 100 adults and children. Interacting with the people while serving is a special side-benefit of the volunteering experience.
Christmas in Action: Christmas in Action works together with volunteers to preserve and revitalize houses and communities assuring that low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners live in warmth, safety and independence.
Lutheran Child and Family Services: A Michigan social agency that ministers to children and families struggling in a changing society. This 100-year-old agency has an extensive Counseling Unit, Family Education and Enrichment programs, Adoption and Foster Care Services.
Issues and Actions Committee: A group that meets monthly to discuss ways to educate, motivate and activate members on how to respond to issues that affect our nation and our communities.
