The purpose of Family Life Ministry at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is to strengthen families and to nurture, encourage and provide opportunities for individuals and families in all stages of life to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and with others.
Family Life Ministry includes growth, fellowship and service events for families, men, women, parents, grandparents and seniors, as well as those who are single, married or engaged to be married.
Redeemer Women's Retreat: A ladies' get-away where you don't have to do anything except show up and open yourself to the Word of God. Speakers inspire us, friends renew us and new friends excite us. Our day and night together are filled with activities, Bible study, keynote speakers, good food, and comfortable lodging - all with the added benefit of being part of the Body of Christ.

Mom's Day Out: The perfect opportunity to provide a gentle introduction to "away play". Children, three months to three years, enjoy a secure routine in the hands of experienced care givers who teach, play with and love the children entrusted to them.

Christmas Whispers: The walk to Christmas can get cluttered with that "to do" list. On a night in deepest Advent we meet at a host home to celebrate the stillness of God's peace. We bring little poems, anecdotes and stories, photos or music and share it with one another. Tasty treats, laughter and friendships bloom in this happy evening.

Men's Wednesday Morning Bible Breakfast: Every Wednesday morning, a group of men gathers for a light breakfast, fellowship and Bible study from 6:45 to 7:30am in the Great Room. The start time is early, but you have the opportunity to share breakfast and the Word, and still be on your way by 7:30.

Advent by Candlelight: The first Wednesday in Advent brings one of the most popular and sentimental events for the women of Redeemer and their friends Beautiful tables are set with pretty china, candles glowing, and dessert is served along with inspiring personal stories of the Christ in Christmas. Laughter, humor, tenderness and introspection make this one of our favorite times to be together. Directors: Sue Kurnat and Tracey Fish.
Saturday Morning Men's Fellowship Breakfasts: These quarterly Saturday morning breakfasts feature a hearty meal followed by guest speakers presenting relevant topics of interest to guys. Come and listen to sports figures, businessmen and people from all walks of life speak of witnessing and their faith in the everyday world.

Positive Parenting Class: A weekly daytime gathering intended to encourage, support and enrich parents by discussing books and/or DVD's related to various parenting issues.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League: To support our missions across the world, we hold food drives, clothing collections, and generally help those in need. Assistance is provided to Lutheran World Relief, pastors and field workers to ensure goals can be met in remote villages and small towns globally.

Redeemer Women's Ministry Group: You don't need to know what your particular talent is to join our Women's Ministry Group. We need women of all ages to plan events and assist with their presentation. We need leaders, followers and women who just want to have a great time in fellowship with others.

Additional Men's Ministries: To strengthen and encourage Redeemer men and their friends in their relationship with God, many activities are planned throughout the year. Saturday "Kidz Basketball", the "Daddy/Daughter Dance", and "Guys Night Out" events are a few of our programs.
